Says Nishchal Bhalla, Founder – Securitybyte,

The idea behind the hacking competition is to get the hackers and security professionals across the globe together on a platform to hone their skills. This competition is a precursor to the actual onsite competition which will take place at Crowne Paza in Bangalore. In view of the excitement around hacking scenario, we look forward to participation from hackers and help learn some of the methods that are used both by attackers (by demonstrating the solution onsite) and share the defense that can be placed while developing these environments.

The maximum number of the flag bearer will win an Apple iPod and training with the Institute of Information Security, a NII initiative. You can also participate in Packet Wars and Wireless Hacking Competition on September 6th & 7th at Hotel Crown Plaza, Bangalore.
