The website started in early 2007 with the intent to share the knowledge by publishing the research oriented security articles and releasing useful Security tools. Initially it was all about Firefox password recovery tools such as FirePassword & FireMaster. In fact SecurityXploded.com was the first site to release such tools for Firefox browser. Later more and more password recovery tools have been added for all browsers, messengers, email clients & other applications. In addition to this it has also released many Anti-spyware & Forensic based tools such as SpyDllRemover, StreamArmor, SpyBHORemover etc.

So far it has published 25+ Security tools most of which have already crossed 5 digit download marks and some of them are in the verge of touching 6 digit exclusive download mark.
