I have some (unverified) concern to websites similar to Virustotal. I’m not sure how long they cache the information or how frequent they revisit the infected site. I think it is very important that they revisit these websites to make sure that the report are accurate.
I noticed this scenario after checking one website that Comodo Site Inspector found infected. The website still in Comodo list but when you rescan the site using their own engine it already appeared NOT infected. When I checked this via Virustotal the site still appeared infected. (Note: Virustotal is using Comodo Site Inspector).
Just a feedback.
Thanks,
