Hi Nag,

I downloaded again from the website, however noticed the time modified has not changed when compared to the file that I had previously downloaded.
Verified the MD5 of the zip and it matches to the one mentioned in the website.

I am still getting the same error. Could you please look into the issue? I could run a debug exe, with more logging enabled to help you identify the issue if you are willing to provide me a debug executable.

Cheers,
ECHStudent

Is there a way to incorporate md5 into the SFCLLIST tool to create hash values for the protected files. I am trying to create hash sets for these protected files for future use but did not want to have to search for these file individually.

Thanks in advance.

Hey
This is console (command line) based application. So you need to first launch cmd.exe ( start->Run-> cmd.exe ) and then run this program from there.

Which file are these filenames produced from?

The regular way to delete/change system files while customizing is to turn off file protection completely. My current windows install is the first in a very long time where I left it active and it has lasted very well and considerably longer than earlier Windows XP installs. After realizing that, I don't want to have to disable it, if there is a way to exclude/remove just the shellstyle.dll from the list.

But I doubt that MS made that easy or even possible as someone would of come up with it already.
